Shipping and Delivery
Can I track my order once it’s shipped?
Yes, it is possible to track the order, and the sales team shall share the details once the shipment has left the manufacturing unit.
What are the shipping options and delivery timelines for orders with indigenous products?
The mode of delivery is typically of two types: - For very small requirements, we make use of local courier services who provide door-to-door services and may take a maximum of 6-7 days in serviceable location PAN India. - For large requirements, a full truck load will be dispatched from the manufacturing unit and sent to the intended site directly. We do not encourage the use of air shipping as furniture is fragile and requires a lot of space to be transported. It is practically and economically not feasible to do so.
Is there a minimum order requirement for free shipping?
No, there is no threshold for provision of free shipping. We can consider the cost in the product rate itself in case it cannot be invoiced as a separate item.
What are the shipping options and delivery timelines for orders with imported products?
The typical lead time for imported products is 11-12 weeks from Europe and 9-10 weeks from South East Asia. However, there is always a potential risk which we may not be held responsible for
- Acts of God / Natural Disasters (earthquakes, storms, etc.)
- Acts of Public Enemy
- Hijacking
- Explosions
- Derailment / Grounding
- Strikes or International Wars
Customization & Use of materials
Do you offer material swatches for selections? When does one receive these?
Yes, we provide various catalogues and swatches to help shortlist the finishes for all products in a project. This is carried out once an order is finalized with provision of a Purchase Order or an LOI (Letter of intent) from the client’s end.
What are the materials used in the construction of your furniture?
We use an array of raw material to provide robust products to our clients. For eg, solid wood, particle board, MDF, Plywood, veneers, laminate sheets, stone, mild steel, stainless steel, paints and polishes, fiberglass, fabrics, leatherettes, genuine leather and many more.
Are these materials sustainable? Do you provide an MTC’s (material test certificates)?
All the raw material being used for fabricating our products is procured from industry leading OEM’s who issue all testing and certification documents, which can be provided on request.
How much of customization is possible and does that impact the quality & delivery timeline?
Multi Seats has a large gamut of products in its portfolio but can also provide customized products as per the requirement of a project. We furnish detailed shop drawings for the client’s approval so that there is no discrepancy in what is proposed versus what is delivered. As a responsible OEM we urge our customers to consider a bit longer timeline than usual, to ensure that customized products are made as per the intended design and specifications, and without any defects or structural issues However, for standard products, the material palette can have an array of customizations like the following examples.
- The table tops can be made in various solid colours / wood grain laminates
- The polish/stain can be customised on the solid wood and veneer surfaces
- The upholstery material can be provided from a large selection of colours and textures
- The shade of powder coating or PVD on stainless steel has certain colour options.
Care & Maintenance
How do I care for and maintain my furniture to ensure its longevity?
With a little care you can prolong the life of your furnitureor lighting. Follow the instructions for the materials of yourspecific product to make sure that it stays in the best shape foras long as possible. The information below is only intended as a general guideline. For more information on how to remove specific stains, pleaseenquire where you bought the furniture.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Always remove stains quickly before they can do anypermanent damage to the furniture. Avoid placing the furniturein direct sunlight or near a strong heat source to reducechanges. As wood is a natural material, it will change in colourand will patinate over time. We only use top quality fabrics, but all fabrics fade and seams weaken when exposed to sunlight or strong heat. General exposure to dust and dirtwears down the fabric.
Regular cleaning is important to keepthe upholstery looking at its best and prolong its life. When you move your furniture, make sure you lift it rather thanpulling or pushing it to avoid damaging the floor, legs andmountings. Avoid improper use such as sitting on the back orarmrests, tilting the seats on their back legs, putting your feeton the furniture or standing on it. Always use coasters underdamp, hot or coloured objects to avoid permanent stains. Be careful not to scratch or damage the surface with sharpobjects. We generally recommend to use neutral detergent dissolvedin water to clean surfaces. Please only use a detergentrecommended for the specific material and do not soak porousmaterials such as wood and marble as this may blemish thesurface over time. To disinfect surfaces it is possible to usealcohol-based products with 70% to 85% ethanol on plastic andchrome-plated or powder-coated metal surfaces. To ensurethat the disinfectant does not blemish the surface over time, due to repeated application, we recommend subsequently towipe the surface with a cloth wrung in water. We always recommend testing on an inconspicuousarea before applying the disinfectant to the entire surface.
FABRICS
Vacuum the furniture regularly using the upholstery nozzle toremove dust and avoid fluff and pilling. Straighten thefabric with your hands from time to time. Wrinkles in the fabriccan be straightened using a steamer. Soak up spilled liquidsimmediately with an absorbent napkin or cloth by dabbinggently towards the centre of the stain. Never use concentrateddetergents or bleach, ammonia, optical brighteners or soapintended for hard surfaces. On wool fabrics, most stains can be removed with lukewarmwater on a clean lint-free cloth. If necessary, add a little neutraldetergent. Avoid rubbing the material hard as this couldresult in loss of colour and damage the fabric.
ANILINE LEATHER (GENUINE)
Aniline leather has no or only a light surface treatment topreserve the leather’s natural surface and soft touch. PIGMENTED LEATHER (GENUINE)

MARBLE
As Marble is a natural material, each stone has unique colours, patterns and textures. Therefore, the surface’s colour and finishmay vary slightly from product to product. Wipe with a cleancloth wrung in water. The marble is not resistant to acids. Thereis a risk that if any acidic liquids come into contact with thetabletop surface it will appear stained. Wiping the stains offimmediately may help, but please note there is no guaranteethat acidic stains or spots can be completely removed. Avoidusing scouring cream or scouring pads, as they may scratchthe surface. Never use vinegar, ammonia, acetic acid or citricacid or abrasive cleaners. Marble can also be scratched if objects are slid upon the surface so instead, ensure that anything being moved on a marble table top should be picked up and kept with a soft touch.
OUTDOOR FURNITURE
The lifespan of your furniture will vary depending on theweather and type of use. We recommend that it is stored ina dry, ventilated place during extreme winter and protected againstscratches and bumps. Wipe off the furniture if it becomes wet after rain or snowfall asthis will damage the surface over time. Make sure to wipe offany sun cream or other liquids from the furniture after use, asthese can leave stains on the surface if left in direct sunlight. During heavy rains, be sure to remove the cushions as the fabric will not be affected but the foam inside may absorb excess amounts of water and would take many hours to fully dry out for the next use.
